Use this to save results from an ANOVA analysis into a Genstat workbook or Excel file. This menu is opened using the Export to file button on the ANOVA Save Options dialog. The options displayed will change depending on which type of analysis is being run, for example if an unbalanced analysis of variance has been performed the Missing value information option is not displayed.
Save
After you select the appropriate boxes, Genstat will generate a multi-paged spreadsheet containing the items selected.
Treatment means | Tables of means for all treatment terms |
Standard errors of means | Tables of standard errors of means for all treatment terms (balanced ANOVA only) |
Effective standard errors of means | Tables of effective standard errors of means for all treatment terms (unbalanced ANOVA only) |
Standard errors of differences between means | Symmetric matrices giving the standard errors of differences between the treatment factors levels |
Treatment effects | Tables of effects for the treatment terms |
Treatment replicates | Tables of replications for each treatment factor |
Fitted values and residuals | Fitted values and residuals for all units in the analysis |
Analysis of variance table | Analysis of variance table for the last analysis |
Covariate information | Estimated covariate regression coefficients and their standard errors (if any covariates in the analysis) |
Missing value information | Estimates for missing values (if any) |
Save in file
Specifies the name of a file to save the regression results. You must give the filename the extension .GWB to save within a Genstat workbook, .XLS to save within an Excel 97-2003 file or .XLSX to save within an Excel 2007-2013 file. You can type the filename into input field or use Browse to select a folder and file to save the data. If no file name is supplied the results will be displayed within a Genstat spreadsheet. If no folder is specified within the filename then the file will be saved within the current working directory.
