When a fault or warning message is generated by Genstat, a dialog appears informing you that you should check the Output window or Event Log. You can view the fault or warning in the Output window by clicking on Output. Alternatively, you can view the fault message in the Event Log by clicking Event log or you can click Close to carry on using Genstat.
This dialog occurs only once for each set of commands that you generate from a menu (for example by clicking Run) or sent from a text window where you have typed the commands yourself.
You can switch off the warning by changing settings in the Event log section of the Tools | Options | Audit Trail tab.
The SET command may be used to turn off diagnostic reporting from Genstat if you do not want fault or warning messages in your output.
