Microarray One Channel Quantile Normalization Options

Use this to to set options for the one channel quantile normalization menu.

Summary method

Specifies which way that the overall distribution is produced from the CDFs from each slide.

Means	The mean is taken across CDFs.
Medians	The median is taken across CDFs.
Geometric means	The geometric mean is taken across CDF’s. This is the mean on the log scale, back-transformed to the natural scale.

Specifies which items of output are to be produced.

Summary

A summary of the quantiles on each slide and of the overall distribution that the slides are normalized to.

Specifies which graphs are to be produced.

Histogram of intensities by slide	The plot of the histogram of intensities on each slide in a trellis plot
CDFs of intensity by slide	The plot of the cumulative probability of intensities on each slide.
Use trellis plot for CDFs	This is an option that puts the CDF plots in either a trellis plot or superimposed on a common graph, if not selected.
Histogram of normalized intensity	The plot of the histogram of intensities that each slide is normalized to.
CDF of intensities by slide	The plot of the cumulative probability of intensities that each slide is normalized to.

OK	Save the options settings and close the dialog.
Cancel	Close the dialog without making any changes.
Defaults	Reset the options to their default settings.

	Clear	Clear all fields and list boxes.
